Springchick Rocks!

I just got back from fetching my mail from the Post Office where I
found a wonderful souvenir of the Great Lakes Gathering. There was an
8 1/2X11 "postcard" covered with the visiting stamps she gathered for
this event, some amazing examples of stampcraft. What a treat... Thank
you so much for the thoughtful gift. Funhog

My sentiments exactly! WOW! What a nice surprise when I got my
snailmail today! Thanks! Springchick, you DO rock! Since I frame alot
of stamp art, and this one is definitely to-be-framed, I'm trying to
decide which side of the "card" to display since they both have
fabulous carvings.

Any chance the rest of us might get to see this WOW card from a scanned
image?

Thanks, but it wasn't entirely my doing... The creator of King
Strang is actually the one from whence your card originated. I
simply did the stamping.

As for the request to share the stamps via scans... I am working on
getting a souvenir card out to everyone who contributed to the Visit
Michigan series as a 'thank you,' but am not comfortable scanning the
images and posting to the list as these are not my stamp images.

I guess I would have to open that up to the 14 people who contributed
stamps for the series.

You have my permission to post mine. It will be placed here in Ohio when it
gets back, I can't wait for the mail to come today! Do you think it would
look to eager if I sat on my porch to watch for the mail person? :-) (Yeah
right, like I have time to sit around) :-)

Not at all! You just have to train Coyote! Our mail carrier, known to the
boys as Aunt Hazel, carries dog biscuits. My dogs are almost always waiting
for her. You could just pretend to be doing the same!

Hi Springchick! Sorry for the late response. We were away on vacation and
I am still ignoring my little ones while glued to the computer trying to
catch up on my email...

It would be nice to see all the stamps that participated in the Great Lakes
gather. We will try and not be embarrassed at the quality of our image...

Have those boxes gone out in the mail yet? No hurry, just wanted to check.
Thanks! BeMa
